About the Project
This 130 m² contemporary penthouse villa in El Alamein on Egypt's North Coast is organised around a double-height living space with tall windows and a mezzanine above. Warm timber wall cladding is contrasted with deep green marble, while a central TV and fireplace wall is framed by full-height bookshelves. Clusters of smoked-glass pendant lights hang through the double-height volume, and sculptural objects, bronze plinths and glowing sphere lights create curated display moments. A lift lobby is finished with bronze-toned doors and an arched beaded mirror above a timber console. The overall interior is calm and refined, balancing natural materials with considered lighting and art.
